Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) Direct Disclosure

Last Updated: June 9, 2026

Because GameMindSports tracks sports analytics, film metrics, and performance highlights for youth, middle school, and high school athletes, we strictly adhere to the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

1. Strict Under-13 Accounts Prohibition

Children under the age of 13 are strictly prohibited from independently creating, registering, or managing an account on GameMindSports.

All youth athlete profiles must be set up, claimed, and managed explicitly by a verified parent or legal guardian through our automated Parent Profile pipeline, or onboarded by an authorized athletic association acting under institutional consent.

2. Parental Verification, Controls, and Access

Parents and legal guardians maintain total commanding oversight over all data tied to their minor child's profile. At any time, a verified parent may:

  • Review the precise performance metrics, names, and highlight tapes stored on the platform.
  • Revoke consent for continued data collection or request the immediate deletion of their child's profile metrics from our databases.
  • Restrict the visibility of their child's custom vanity URL from external recruitment scouts.

3. Institutional School/League Exception

When an athletic league, club association, or middle/high school program registers rosters on GameMindSports, they certify they have the legal authority to act as an agent of the parent and grant institutional consent under COPPA's "School Official" exemption parameter solely for administrative and training purposes.
